Taco salad is big and good. Everything is good and reasonably priced.

Buffet was not inviting so ordered from menu. Burger all the way and fries. One of best burgers I have had lately. Huge burger. Great staff.

The taco salad is amazing and the onion rings are off the chain they are so good. I would recommend Stephens Diner to anyone. The server was on point and her name is Kesley Matthews make sure you go by there and say hello to Kesley Matthews she is the best server.

Food is fresh and service is always outstanding, but he has made some changes to the taco salad. The salsa is different and it Is like eating tomato sauce and the chips on the taco salad are like eating cardboard. It was much better when they used fritos and the first version of homemade salsa. But everything else is great. Best burgers in blount county. And homemade chips are great too.

It used to be a great place to eat, but the food as gone downhill and they rarely put more food on the Buffet and the waitress doesn't seem to care if you need anything.

Awesome food. The pancakes were amazing. Filled the whole plate.

Quaint little place with good food

One of the best restaurants in Blount County. They offer a buffet that includes meats, sides, drinks, and desserts. I recommend ordering off the menu though -- either the burger or club sandwich. Both are deliciously packed with meat and toppings to fill any appetite.

Went for breakfast buffet. Was out of eggs,gravy, grits and orange juice. The tea must have been left from previous day, it was soured. Sure some days are better, just hit on a bad day. Heard another customer complaining also.

Hands down best food in town.

No buffet on weekends, but other than that it was great. Wish they stayed open later on the weekends.

Great little place but if you blink, you'll miss it. Some of the BEST burgers anywhere! Handmade and BIG! I LOVE their onion rings and fries both so that a tough decision for me. Haven't tried the buffet yet but with their burgers, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!!!!!! We stop in every time we're in town, passing through ir close by! Service is great and folks are friendly! If you haven't tried it yet, you need to.

Our first visit to th his restaurant. Very quaint. We arrived Mid MORNING and were the only customers at that time (obviously it was the slow period). The meal was nice and hot. Interesting that it was served on a metal tray, but stayed warm while eating. We would visit here again but would like to be earlier and try the buffet.

Amazing food and service

It's been a while since I wrote this review, and I wanted to update it: Stephen has changed the menu up in the last year or so, and it is absolutely delicious food. On my last visit, I had the Club sandwich, which was more than enough to feed two people, and a heaping pile of cajun ranch fries to go along with it. They keep the establishment clean, the prices low and the food is always piping hot and delicious. If you want a bite to eat in Oneonta, THIS is where you need to go!

Lady at the bank told me they had a killer hamburger and she was correct. Very good burger and fries and a very good price. Cheaper than a fast food place and much better. Great, friendly service. I'll be going back for sure!

Home style cooking. Great service and food quality is the best. Eat here quite often.

A must try when in town. Home made chips are great. When available the buffets have been good and filling. Burgers can't be beat. Interesting parking but plenty of it. Great iced tea.

Traveling through and stopped for breakfast. Best eggs I have ever eaten. Bacon and sausage cooked perfectly. Nice clean restaurant and great service. Waitress was very personable and the owner even came out to make sure we were pleased with our food. We will be back and we recommend this place to everyone.
